Welcome. Physically or mentally I'm always wandering around somewhere over this blue globe of ours. This is my treasure cove. Here's where I post my attempts to capture the beauty I encounter every day. Here's where I share what excites me about our world. Aloha! Kristen

Yellowstone NP 1
We set up camp in the park and that first night I thought I'd die. It was freezing and despite a jumper, a winter sleeping bag and pyjama pants I felt like someone who had been accidentally dumped in Siberia. The positive side was that I was so busy surviving that I couldn't worry about bears too much. I probably would have cuddled up with one...
The next day I bought new clothes. I'm pretty sure that I looked stupid wearing a scarf around my waist, a t-shirt, socks, pyjama pants, a hat, a hood, a jumper, the sleeping bag and a sarong. Only my eyes were visible, like a mummy.
