Navajo Indians

This is Navajo Indian territory. Jimmy took us on a tour and showed us around. There are a lot of cool things such as a sandstone monument which looks like a concert hall, their hutts where everybody sleeps on the floor, grandma who only speaks Navajan, plants which work as their shampoo, rocks with formations which looked like faces or animals. Their society is a matriarchy, the values unchanged for hundreds of years. They have their own government, alcohol is forbidden here. However sadly this culture is a dying one too, all the kids who are old enough moved to a city. Posted by Picasa
